Bambu Lab X1C Small Parts Storage w/Hotend Assembly Holders
thingiverse
When looking for a small parts storage box I didn't find anything I liked. The most popular box you'll see is something that looks like you're taking your parts on an expedition through the Amazon rainforest. I also wanted to have a way to store and nicely and safely arrange my spare hot ends. This is a PRINT IN PLACE box. It's fits entirely on the build plate even with the flow calibration lines and purge tower. Box Dimensions 175mm length 107mm width (not including hinge and latch) 61.50mm height (closed) Compartment Dimensions 55mm length 32mm width 27mm height Features: Hotend Assembly Holders: • Has small retainers in the space that lightly but securely holds them in place. • The bottom also has little extrusions on the dividers that stick up to keep the nozzles in place when the box is closed. See section view for a detail. Compartments: • Fillet in bottom to aid in taking parts out. I printed this with 10% gyroid infill using a .4mm nozzle and .2 layer height with Bambu PLA Basic. Print time is roughly 5 hours. Thanks to Nanodesigner for making a 3D model of the Bambu Lab X1C Nozzle!
