Bambu Lab X1 Door Handle
prusaprinters
I wanted a door handle that extended further out but not too much so that it was easier to grab and pull. But mostly because I wanted one that just had the Bambu Lab logo graphic to kind of match the top glass handle.I printed it using PETG but any filament should work. If you want to print the logo using a different filament color (assuming your using the Bambu Studio) I find it easier to paint the logo by splitting the model “To Parts” then in “Object” mode select each logo part and select the color from the filament dropdown menu. This will work for the flush and extruded versions. For the inset versions just fill paint the bottom faces of the logo. Layer height: 0.16mmWall loops: 3Top shell layers: 7Infill top surface pattern: Hilbert Curve (Looks Cool!)Support - Enable support: Yes please!Support Type: NormalSupport Painting: support fill paint the bottom of the screw postFiles: round and square versions with flush, inset, and extruded logo. 4D version coming soon!Warning: Be careful when you screw on your new door handle in that you don't over tighten it as you may crack the glass. Make sure that the tiny washers are still on both sides of the screws.Update (10/29/2022): Updated the inset handle versions to be more AMS friendly. Both inset step and stl files have separate inset parts which can be colored separately to reduce filament changes.
