Bamboo Biological Enclosure Center Part1 of 2
thingiverse
Construct a biological shelter using plastic parts and pre-cut bamboo within 7 minutes; this enclosure can support mosquito netting, potentially combating malaria in underprivileged regions. Follow these steps: Part 1 involves creating tension among four corners with string to stabilize the base. Part 2 secures bamboo pieces at corners for a stable base and arches to form a dome for hanging mosquito nets. To assemble, print out two parts, select appropriate bamboo, and follow instructions for framing, adding centerpiece, and stringing for stability. Secure mosquito netting over the structure, tucking it under the frame to prevent mosquito access. This project is sponsored by RWJUHH Experimental Pathology Department-Mentored Research program's "Design challenge."
