CITY MAP OF BALTIMORE :: Scene Details :: The Baltimore City Map was created with the latest 3dsmax 2015 software and rendered using V-Ray 3.60.03. LWF technology brought this vast area to life. Within the digital realm, no maps were utilized for authenticity. The chosen shader is VRrayMtl. Spanning a colossal 30 kilometers in every direction, the Baltimore City Map embodies immense size. To deliver precision and accuracy, the model extensively relies on OSM data. This ensured an authentic cityscape. Layers within the model are distinctly divided into: buildings, highway, railroad, and waterways. To visually grasp this organizational structure, please refer to preview images attached for detailed analysis. The creation of individual residences fell under constraints; namely import restrictions and inadequate OSM information hindered a more thorough representation of homes across the map area. Again, viewers may inspect the visual records captured in accompanying preview images for insights into these specific neighborhoods that are included. Material rendering on this massive project was managed by utilizing V-Ray materials. As per creative preferences, maps have been strictly avoided to avoid any artificial embellishments or effects in final outcome.
