Balsa Wood Stripper/Cutter

thingiverse

A vital tool in Radio Control Aircraft Building, this device cuts balsa wood strips (5-30mm wide) and is printed on a 100x100mm Thing-o-Matic 3D Printer using black ABS with 20% fill. To build, you'll need additional materials: a 70mm x 4mm threaded rod, three 4mm washers, eight 4mm nuts, and three 10x3mm self-tapping screws. Assemble the components in sequence on the 4mm threaded rod and attach them to the Bottom Plate Square Hole. Secure the slide with a 3mm Self-tapping screw, then attach the Top Plate and blade holder/blade using two more 3mm screws. Most hobby blades will fit this tool. Although the assembly instructions may be lacking, assistance is welcome for those who can offer it, as it's not the author's native language.
