Balor, the One-Eyed God

Balor, the one-eyed god, is a giant creature who commands the legions of the Fomorians on their conquering forays into new worlds. He is revered as a god and legends suggest that he can only be harmed by magical weapons such as those created by the first men, the Danaans, or the Aes Sidhes. Balor owns a sword called Gricenchos, forged from molten fragments of the various weapons of the champions from the worlds he conquered. His Eye is capable of firing a blast of devastating energy, which opens craters and turns everything in its path to ash. The Fomorians are creatures from another plane who came to Alavar through an open portal in the cave of Corcu Belgotan, on the edge of the Kingdom of Argor.
