These fire remarkably well using only an ordinary balloon :-)\r\nFollowing the initial print of these for my kids to use, we discovered that the original was somewhat too inclined to shattering. \r\nBoth the Mk2 and the Mk3 have significantly thicker walls and lids so you can carry ammunition inside them (once you've attached the balloon, obviously).\r\n\r\nI reinforced the lid on the Mk2 (orange balloon) so it now screws on clockwise :-) The lid design is slightly different than in the pictures.\r\n\r\nThe Mk3 (blue balloon) is longer and easier for larger hands to grasp.\r\nI ran out of clear PETG, so I had to print the lids in red :-)\r\n\r\nUse a standard round party balloon - cut off the neck with scissors right where it widens into the main body. Take the bigger part and stretch it over the non-threaded end, ensuring it fits snugly in the groove. You can secure it with a rubber band or a zip tie.\r\n\r\nEnjoy yourself! Don't shoot anyone.
