Balloon Boy
thingiverse
I'm entering the #MakeItFloat challenge with "Balloon Boy," a vessel that floats effortlessly due to three stabilizers printed at zero percent infill and a layer height of 0.1 millimeters. The boat itself is also crafted using this technique, resulting in a lightweight yet robust structure. I employed simple water balloons for buoyancy, inflating them with five pumps from my manual balloon pump; feel free to experiment with different air pressures using your preferred pump. When filled to capacity, "Balloon Boy" can hold approximately 50-60 pennies, depending on the number of pumps used to inflate the balloons.
