Ballerina 4
pinshape
This sculpture captures the essence of classical ballet in one perfect moment, showcasing the dancer's elegant gesture as she extends her hands in a beautiful, flowing motion. A sturdy base made from a decorative stone adds a touch of sophistication to the overall composition, creating a visually appealing piece that can be seamlessly integrated into any interior space. Sculpture Height: 260mm The plastic used for this figurine consists of three parts and a fan, totaling 80 grams in weight. The pedestal, on the other hand, weighs 37 grams. This sculpture was printed using an FDM printer called Lad-1.0 with a nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm, layer height set at 0.1 mm for the figurine and 0.2 mm for the pedestal. Post-processing techniques employed include grinding and chemical polishing with ethyl acetate to achieve a smooth finish. The sculpture was then colored using acrylic enamels and polyurethane varnish, applied with a brush for precise control over the color application. To minimize plastic consumption during printing, consider separating the upper and lower parts of the figurine into two distinct prints, each optimized for optimal orientation on an FDM printer (files Ballerina4-top.stl and Ballerina4-bottom.stl). The fan can be printed separately and attached to the figurine using a curved steel wire pin with a diameter of 0.5 mm. The figurine and pedestal are connected using a curved pin with a diameter of 1 mm, ensuring a strong and durable bond between the two components.
