I was eager to create my own balancing bot following the tutorial. Unfortunately, I lacked the necessary tools or materials to build a frame, but I had access to a computer and a 3D printer. I customized my bot to accept PWM commands from my boat's remote control radio receiver. To improve traction on smooth surfaces, I cut a piece of bicycle inner tube and stretched it over the tires.
