A ball valve in Catia V5R202.Keyshot 5 is a type of quarter-turn valve designed with a rotatable ball that has a hollow, perforated structure. When the hole of the ball aligns with the flow direction, it allows passage; otherwise, it obstructs it upon rotating 90 degrees via the handle. The handle's position, flat or perpendicular to the flow, visually indicates whether the valve is open or closed.
