This initially conceptualized as a "ball outside a cage" with the ball supported by four corner posts, but later found that two were adequate. The twist added to its fun quotient! Adequate clearance around the twisting posts ensures smooth sliding, so be cautious while removing support structure. For printing this design on my MakerBot Replicator2 using ReplicatorG with default settings of Replicator 2 slicer and white MB PLA, I set Infill at 10%, Layer Height as 0.27mm, Shells for 2, Feedrate at 40, Travel Feed rate at 55, and a temperature of 220°C.
