Ball Track Hand Spinner
myminifactory
I've been itching to try out a spinner design based on D13mm steel balls. One of the things that drew me to this idea is how the balls can move freely within their tracks, often migrating to the outermost position when rotation speeds reach their peak. It's almost like witnessing a miniature marble run in action during slower rotations. To enhance the tactile experience, I incorporated revolving grooves into the design. This project will require one 608 skate ball bearing and three D13mm steel balls. Since the bearing needs to be secured with a small amount of glue, it's essential to apply this detail carefully. A first test version featuring straight tracks has been included in the files (V2). The model units are specified in millimeters.
