ball stand
thingiverse
For this ball stand, STL files are included for 3, 4, 5, and 9 legs if you simply want to print one. Personally, I prefer the 4-leg version. If you'd like to modify some settings before printing, there are easy-to-change options available in OpenSCAD: * Number of legs (start with three if you want it to be able to stand) * Height (you can also adjust this in your slicer, of course) * Diameter of the bottom and top balls * Offset (negative values are possible if you want to create a version that stands on a shelf above eye level instead of a desk) Since the Customizer app on Thingiverse works better with smaller value ranges, download the .scad file and modify it locally if you want to experiment with other settings. Besides serving as a ball stand, this design might be useful as an eggcup (perhaps not for eating eggs, but for painting them next Easter), as a stand for airbrushing or spray painting objects without touching them, or as a stand for a wet brush or pen (only with an even number of legs).
With this file you will be able to print ball stand with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on ball stand.
