This adapter links a plane map light socket to 1" RAM Mount equipment. A big thanks goes out to RAM Mounts for their fantastic hardware! The standard size of the sockets is 3/8" (0.375) but every aircraft wears differently. So, multiple sizes are available. You will need a machine screw and nut to complete this project. I also suggest using threadlocker. My best results came from using PET because it has excellent layer bonding and high resistance. ABS failed when people tightened the ball too much - it split along the layer lines. This turned it into an uncontrollable swivel, which was not good. PET didn't have this issue. I wouldn't recommend PLA since cockpits can get very hot, leading to warpage or separation.
