Since Scosche mounts are female ended while Universal mounts are male ended and are different sizes, this ball adapter lets you use your original car mount with a universal magnet mount. In my case, this is working for Scosche dash mount and CD tray mount to an Ebay Magsafe Mount. Use PETG if you will be installing in a car as PLA will melt in the heat.
