With ease, we create a striking Ball Lollipop using Cinema 4D R18. First, let's add some fun and vibrant colors to our creation. Select the sphere tool and set its color to bright red in the Materials panel, located at the top of your screen. Now, navigate to the Modify tab, then adjust the Bevel parameters under Object Display Properties. Set Soften to 20, which will add a smooth finish around our shape, then enable Fillet Radius under Subdivision, to give it a rounded edge. Under Extrude Tool, apply the Extrude parameters. Add three points on the circumference of our shape: -40 for Length, 4.57 inches in the Direction and another -40 for Bevel Size. Click Insert Mesh when prompted by your software. Now go to Modeling menu, and pick Insert Object - Extrude. Set Distance value under Length property at 4 inches to create a sturdy lip. Adjust Height setting at -18 so our model will remain intact after it’s done. Next navigate to Create panel. Here find sphere, click twice for adding an object then duplicate, placing one over existing. Using Bevel options from Tool Properties you can make sure your sphere turns smoothly in the round of curve shape. To keep things even and consistent on every single side go down the panel right-hand edge where you'll see Symmetry settings toggle these as ON once they become active then simply drag a small number -6 all across both up-down left-right directions. Make these value exactly matching with each other if required or needed. Set Radius at about 7 in order create more volume when we insert our last pieces together. Here is how our Ball Lollipop looks so far. Using Bevel from Tool Properties apply settings just as they have been for before: Set it Soften at 30 fillet at the edges by Subdivision giving curve with no extra lines -40 radius -10 and under Extrude go Length value under at only distance to get done properly click Mesh now let's head to Menu choose Modeling then pick Object Insert, select extrude give this a name "Lip" go in Properties tab. Set Radius exactly to that same measurement -20 so all lip areas are equal with just minor touchups around edge of this area where our final shape is made using Subdivide -0.
