This is a cable management system for Extruder wires on Prusa i3 MK2s and Zaribo 3D printers. Note that an adaptor for the MK2S will be released soon, making this system currently only usable with Zaribo printers. For more information about Zaribo, visit http://zaribo.org. This system consists of three main components: The Extruder Adaptor requires removing the extruder heater cable connectors, which won't fit through the ball joints. Use tie wraps to secure wires firmly in place. These parts must be printed with no supports in the orientation of supplied STL files. Ball Joints are required for Zaribo - approximately 26 will be needed, depending on cable length. Print these using 'Spiralise' or 'Vase' mode without top or bottom layers. PETG is recommended for a little extra flex. The Rambo Box Adaptor - Zaribo has a straight end to fit over existing connections and should have a tight fit. Use heatshrink to avoid rubbing problems, but this might not be necessary with this system. Print these using 'Spiralise' or 'Vase' mode and PETG for extra flex. When ball joints are joined together, they should have a loose fit but not fall apart. Tips: Thread wires through the ball joints in segments to make it easier, then join the segments together afterwards.
