Ball Joint small 5mm ball
thingiverse
Human may want to print with a brim to see just how small of a ball joint socket can be made using the default nozzle on the Prusa I3 MK2S, which has a 0.4mm diameter. After conducting research, it became clear that 2 wall thicknesses are needed to ensure the strength of a snap fit joint. To achieve this, make sure the thickness of each wall is at least 0.86mm. With the settings in Prusa Slicer set to 0.15, two lines of said walls can be created. This was just a test, but also wanted to share in case anyone else is curious about the size of a strong ball joint that can be created on the Prusa's default nozzle.
