Ball Joint
thingiverse
You might need to fiddle with infill settings and extrusion multiplier to get them working properly, ensuring your bed height is spot on, possibly even trying a raft. I personally adjust my extrusion from the usual 0.96 down to 0.9, while also tweaking infill levels to 50%. To release the ball completely, screw in a 2.5mm bolt into the ball and gently wiggle it around. Typically, four out of five work successfully for me. I have also created 3mm and 2mm joints, but unfortunately, I'm still struggling with getting the 2mm to function. However, you could easily drill your existing 2.5mm joint down to 3mm size if needed, achieving a smaller ball joint.
