Ball Joint Banana Holder

Ball Joint Banana Holder

I stumbled upon a neat banana holder online previously, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with its limited orientation options, so I decided to create my own instead. To overcome this issue, I incorporated a ball joint mount into the design, allowing me to easily rotate the banana bunch to any desired angle. The entire assembly consists of three distinct pieces. Given that the hook is circular in shape, it's advisable to utilize additional supports for added stability. In hindsight, I might revisit the design and introduce flat surfaces for smoother printing. I also added screw mounts to facilitate under-cabinet installation, but found it more practical to employ wood glue instead (just allow a day for it to dry before putting it to use). EDIT: I revised the screw and nut assembly after someone reported difficulties with proper fitting. Upon closer inspection, I discovered an overly tight interference fit, so I modified the mount and nut to accommodate 1"-12 threads.
