This project targets cost effectiveness, user-friendliness, and dependability. To achieve the first goal, its design incorporates the original twistlock mechanism by splitting it in half and utilizing it as a base. Any size or number of ball joints can be used subsequently. The joints have been designed for ease of manufacture, with each ball cut into four sections that can be mass-produced efficiently and replaced easily if required. This attachment method produces a popping sound when locked or unlocked, providing the crane operator with assurance of the ball joint's stability. This distinctive type of joint is noteworthy because it applies quickly and acts as a two-dimensional constraint on its own. A combination of three such joints forms a constrained object, while four offer even greater robustness. The joints can be designed to have varying sections sizes, affecting loading and surface areas; larger balls or more smaller ones would increase rigidity and support, although this is merely a conceptual stage.
