Ball joint alternative for h pattern shifter controller
thingiverse
Replacing the ball joint in the h-pattern shifter demands two extra bearings, eight millimeter bolts and nuts. The ball joint I sourced was held up by a couple of months, and all the locally available substitutes were pricey, so I came up with this design. Its durability is uncertain, but it got me back on the road. Other deviations from stock on my shifter - upgraded main rail (check out the other remix), and running inverted. I've also included my gear knob, a single print (as opposed to multi-part), screws directly onto the eight millimeter rod, and is designed for large hands, I'll re-export and upload with a smaller head if requested.
