Ball Joint

Ball Joint

thingiverse

A precision ball joint capable of achieving angles up to 50 degrees is now available for woodworking applications. Connecting the ball to its corresponding socket is facilitated through a clip, allowing for effortless disassembly as needed. The ball joint's design accommodates countersunk wood screws in both the ball and socket components. To achieve optimal print settings, it is recommended to print this ball joint with 100% infill density. Since supports are not required, printing can proceed without any additional structures. Recent updates have introduced a stronger clip and socket variant, which necessitate the use of supports (limited to the build plate) for successful printing.
