Ball in Cube Necklace and Earrings
thingiverse
Human: 32mm diameter sphere inside a 30mm cube 2nd version with 15mm cube and a 14mm diameter sphere - perfect for earrings or small necklace. The instructions. Firstly, the sphere sticks out from the cube making it enjoyable to spin around because its diameter is slightly larger than the length of the cube sides. Secondly, I have positioned the sphere a little above in the z-axis so that it aligns with the bottom edge of the cube for printing using supports. I used a Form 1+ to print this object at full size and connected it to a length of string. To attach this necklace I added jump rings. I then made 50% sized ones to give my wife matching earrings and secured these on silver earring findings by using 4mm jump rings as an intermediary connector for mounting on the fishhook-style findings.
