Ball in a Knot & Just the Knot

A straightforward design featuring a carved-out knot with space for a ball to move about, accompanied by a solid version ensuring print quality. The process involved creating the knot in Cheetah3D before importing it into ZBrush and carving out a groove nearly around its circumference. A single ball concluded the design. Requests for additional balls are welcome. Due to a request, a version without the ball is also available. For printing, ReplicatorG was used to prepare the file. With MakerBot Replicator2 and Replicator 2 slicing defaults, settings included 10% infill, 0.200 layer height, one shell, feedrate of 40, travel feed of 55, and a temperature of 220. A raft with full support was utilized in the printing process. The Ball in a Knot (100 mm tall) took approximately 7 hours to print, while the solid knot (50 mm tall) required less than 2 hours. Although removing support structures wasn't overly challenging, patience is advised.
