New parts to convert the JBV Creative wall clock to be driven by a 4.5mm ball chain. Biggest advantage to doing this is to remove the need for the rewinding mechanism and crank on the original clock. Now you can get another 7 days of runtime by just lifting the weight and pulling down on the other end of the chain. New 'spool' to replace the original, should screw directly on to the existing ratchet pawls piece. Chain guide helps prevent slipping of the chain on the spool and attaches to one of the original mount holes on the base with a M4 X 20mm screw. A counterweight is reccommended on the other end of the ball chain to prevent slipping on the gear. An option is provided here to fill with coins - seems to need around 80-100g of weight. Also included is a replacement top for the weight to allow it to accommodate a ball chain. Feed a few links through the hole, slip the 'lock' piece in between links and then using a bit of force, squish it to stay in place in the cut-out in the top.
