Ball Caster - Parametric

This small ball caster is designed for use on robots and other rolling objects, with adjustable parameters including Ball Diameter, Airgap, Ball Protrusion, Total Height, Base Thickness, Mounting Screw Radius, and Spread between screws. The OpenSCAD file allows easy customization of these values. Two mounting types are being developed, with ears for mounting with two external screws or a center screw with a counter-sunk design for screwing in before the ball is snapped into place. Although not fully complete, this caster spins freely on a reprap. This design will be integrated into Scout at Thingiverse.com/thing:13042.
