I created some code that generates bearings. Originally designed for use with Airsoft BBs as balls, but it's configurable for any size ball. This project is still in progress. If you print a bearing and have suggestions on how to improve it, let me know. On 2019-03-07, I updated the scad file to reduce poly count and introduce slight tolerances in the race size. The original version was extremely tight and didn't actually roll, but it did assemble properly, which is a win for a theoretical design. I rebuilt the base extrusion source on 2019-03-08 to allow for dynamic race placement based on user-specified numbers of ball bearings. The more balls you specify, the closer the ball channel will be to the outer race. If you specify too many or too few balls, the model will generate with the maximum or minimum number. If a specified ball is too large to make sense with other dimensions, an error message will be given instead of a nonsensical object.
