Ball bearing pusher

Ball bearing pusher

I utilized precision bolts as axes for ball bearings in some recent projects. Due to their tight fitting, they are extremely difficult to install by hand, which is why I designed this simple tool to push them into place using a regular M5 screw and nut. It was created specifically for 625 ball bearings with an outer diameter of 16 mm and an inner diameter of 5 mm. The usage should be self-explanatory from the picture above, and it works flawlessly! Update I've added a parametric OpenSCAD version that allows you to design your own piece. Please note that I haven't printed the generated part yet, but the measured dimensions appear to be correct.
