Ball Bearing idler Pulley for 6mm belt

I designed this Idler Pulley specifically for a Solidoodle 2, but it should work anywhere you need to swap out a plain bearing Idler for a Ball Bearing version. The current model is built around a 4mm shaft and features an 8mm OD, 4mm ID, and 3mm wide bearing. These bearings are readily available at discounted prices on eBay - simply search for "Precision Bearings - Proven Quality - High RPM Speeds" and select the Model: 4x8x3mm Bearing with Standard Rubber Seals. A small lip helps keep the bearings securely in place, although they can occasionally work loose on earlier versions.
