This is not really a remix. but an improved filament adapter with ball bearings that can be used with the excellent "Mk II: A Rigid spool holder for Dremel 3D40 / 3D45" to allow smoother operations. I made this as I had a problem when printing small objects with a lot of details where the extruder didn't move around a lot and the filament got stuck with a new 1kg roll. I used two 6004 ball bearings with 20 x 42 x 12 mm dimension that fitted right on the original axle. For my Nordic friends , this can be bought from Biltema for example... The adapters that is included here is for filament from Clas Ohlsson (53.2 mm hole) so they are 52,5mm diameter. I tried two different types of holders, one solid, and one a bit more fancy. Fancy one used 36 g filament, the other one 40 g so I would choose the solid one as it is more robust. Printed them with 1.2 mm skin, 10% infill, no supports needed on my 3D45 at least. Beside the included adapters I also included two templates to easy create any other adapter following the steps listed, I used Tinkercad, but I guess the steps can be preformed in other programs to: 1) Create a solid cylinder, 68 mm high with the correct diameter for your filament roll. 2) Choose the fancy or solid template, make it hollow (Pressing "h" i Tinkercad) 3) Center them over each other with the "Align" tool 4) Merge them with with "Group" tool 5) Export 6) Print The ball bearings is just pressed in
