Designing a ball bearing in NX CAD involves several key steps to ensure accuracy and precision. First, create a new part file by clicking on "Part" under the "Create" menu or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N (Cmd+N on Mac). Then, select the "Ball Bearing" icon from the toolbar or navigate to it through the "Features" menu. Next, click and drag the cursor over the work plane where you want the bearing to be placed. You will see a preview of the bearing as you move the cursor. Release the mouse button when the bearing is in the desired position. Once the bearing is placed, you can modify its dimensions by clicking on the "Dimensions" icon in the toolbar or navigating to it through the "Features" menu. This will allow you to adjust the diameter and width of the bearing. After setting the dimensions, click on the "Finish" button to complete the ball bearing design. You can now save your part file as a .prt or .x_t file by clicking on "File" > "Save As."
