Ball And Chain V2
thingiverse
This is version 2 of my original Ball and Chain, which prints as one complete piece without any support material needed. I created this fun little gift for a friend at work who recently got married, and the ring actually fits my finger perfectly - I'm roughly a size 8, so you may need to adjust it slightly if your finger is significantly smaller or larger. To achieve the no-support-print requirement, I cleverly split the ball in two sections. I printed with 10% fill density, but the top portion came out looking a bit messy; maybe increasing the infill could fix this issue entirely. Also worth noting - as shown in the image, the ball and chain aren't directly attached; you'll need to cut off the last ring post from the print to attach them together seamlessly. Perhaps someone has already found a more streamlined way of printing these two sections into one cohesive piece?
