Balis-Kit 2
thingiverse
This is an update from the previous catapult. -> No metal, only printed filament -> Graduation, easier to read -> Stronger trigger -> Reduction in the number of parts. Balis-Kit is literally a ballistic kit to assemble and calibrate. This Small desk catapult is able to provide non-lethal kinetic energy to an object willing to fly. The interest of this kit lies in the fact that you can adjust: The power by using different types of elastic or different position of the elastics along the arm The trajectory angle by changing the position of the arresting screw (See post printing section) By assembling this project, you will gain access to an interesting experimentation tool to discover: Physic through elastic potential energy and kinetic energy of the projectile. The art of desk war strategy Not to forget the ballistic equations with second order polynomial that comes with Newton’s law For the propulsion, you can use different types of elastics. You will need: a 3D printer =================== !!! WARNING !!! =================== Please send soft material like gum. Metallic materials are interesting because of their density but they might break things or hurt people. =================== !!! WARNING !!! ===================
