Balcony table

Balcony table

I made this object in Tinkercad. Check out the link: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4GUTXhcOxrs. This is my entry for the Tinkercad Great Outdoors contest. Recently, I moved into a new apartment and since I'm the only one living there for now, I didn't want to break the bank on furniture. However, I have a perfect balcony for sunbathing and enjoying a cold beer during the summer months. The problem was that I had nowhere to set my beer and snacks down. To solve this issue, I decided to build some brackets to create a table inspired by the last video from 3D Printing Nerd. This table is the cheapest option I could come up with using minimal plastic and cardboard - which also helped me get rid of all those empty boxes cluttering my space. To design the model, I measured the area where it would be placed. Then, I created a paper template to check if the dimensions were correct. Finally, I used a photo to send it to Tinkercad as an SVG file and extruded it into 3D form. If you're interested in getting the exact sizes of this design, feel free to leave a comment or send me a direct message - I'll be happy to share them with you. The board that serves as the table is actually two square pieces of cardboard.
