# Update Oct 7, 2019 Balcony-Top-1X-V3.stl is added. This lid version features a recess for better grip. June 23, 2019 **TL;DR:** For Simplify3D users, use the new Version2 of **Balcony-Top-1X-V2.stl** file only. It works with all slicers. The initial version wasn't optimized for slicing in Simplify3D, resulting in gear teeth not properly attached to the gear body. Special thanks go out to Eliasen for debugging this issue with me. --- # About This Thing A mechanized box features 2 "balcony" drawers. The drawers open with a 120º rotation of the lid. - Sliding parts tolerance: 0.25mm - Fixing parts tolerance: 0.15mm ### STL Files - Balcony-Base-1X.stl - Top - Balcony-Top-1X-V2.stl: *(without finger recess grips)* - Balcony-Top-1X-V3.stl: *(with finger recess grips)* - Balcony-Screw-1X.stl - Balcony-Drawer-**2X**.stl (*Print two of this*) - Balcony-Drawer-Floor-**2X**.stl (*Print two of this*) All files are in their correct z-up orientation, avoiding the need for supports (except Balcony-Drawer-2X.stl which still needs a small 5mm tall support for best results) Assembly walkthrough: https://youtu.be/6mMMvX21UT0 --- ### I've Invested a Lot of Coffee in This Design <a target="_blank" href="https://paypal.me/plasticbarista/3USD"><img src="https://github.com/saadchdhry/images/raw/master/buttons/paypal/paypal-3.png" title="Donate $3" alt="Donate $3">
