Balancing Men Pendulum

Grabcad no longer automatically displays animated GIFs; instead, click on an image to see it move. This text is based on a YouTube video (https://youtu.be/DLM_1vqmmtM). The model draws inspiration from a previous design I published - the Wave Pendulum Mechanism. While the animation looks better in the video, the GIF has limited frames. It was created using Solidworks 2016 for modeling and Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition for rendering. Frames were edited with Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP files. Video conversion to MP4 done with MyMP4BoxGui. Gifs were made with PhotoScape, and renders edited using IrfanView. The 3D-PDF and SIMLAB files are animated. You can find the model in various formats: Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF, and FBX.
