I reworked the entire project on my old gimbal, deleting it from TV was the right call - this new one is sleeker and rock-solid with significantly less weight.\nThe electronics are cannibalized straight from a China Gimbal, giving me some nice cost savings.\nMy primary design mounts directly onto a DJI F450 groundplate for maximum stability.\nAs a bonus feature, it's also equipped to handle an FPV transmitter, and if needed can seamlessly replace the original Chinese gimbal.\nWhen building your new mount, make sure any parts needing adhesives are secured with added welding for peace of mind.\nThe camera attachment fits snugly but needs rubber bands to keep it firmly in place until it's glued down securely.\nWait - I goofed by forgetting to flip my main support by 90°, fix that mistake pronto!\nUpdate 2015/09/18:\nI just uploaded three revised files to significantly enhance pitch-axis stability.\n--- Attention! ---\nSince some 'enterprising' companies at Gooduck are hawking off versions of my work without consent, I'm incorporating distinct identifying markers to protect it from being duplicated illicitly.\nFeel free to chip in a little thanks for the efforts I put into making these awesome gimbal designs, you can toss me a TIP ;o)
