The specimen described in the following paper; "A new species of baleen whale (Balaenoptera) from the Gulf of Mexico, with a review of its geographic distribution" Patricia E. Rosel Lynsey A. Wilcox Tadasu K. Yamada Keith D. Mullin https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/mms.12776 This 3D model was merged from both the dorsal and ventral sides. The ventral side of the vomer is partially obscured because the maxilla and premaxilla were loose, making them hard to connect to the rigid part of the skull on the caudal side, which moved when taking pictures. For clarity, the color map was adjusted for brightness. Specifically, the marker colors were manually set to RGB: 255, 0, 0.
