Bakugan Warrior Whale WIP
thingiverse
Hello everyone, I decided to stretch my legs at Fusion360 since I haven't messed around with it seriously in almost a decade! I just recently learned how to use the Sweep tool function and really wanted to test all it could do. I took measurements of one of the simpler Bakugan I own with some digital calipers and transferred them to the program. Then I modeled a sphere and cut it into large chunks with the sweep tool and continued to break it down to its smaller components. I may be continuing work on it in the near future, but I'd like to incorporate tolerances into it so the parts fit together smoothly when printed. The mechanics seem pretty far from my skill level to design, so I'll have to see how that goes. There's also the idea to make all of the mechanics and springs in it 3d printable as well. A long-term goal of mine would be to make a custom fully print-in-place Bakugan that's ready to play right off the print bed! PS: This file may not be easily printable as is, but if there is any interest in it, let me know and I can upload all of the individual parts I designed separately. Thanks for reading!
