Bakugan Prototype 3d model
pinshape
I started this project back in Thanksgiving, an idea that's been percolating for over three months now. It was a themed video to complement the Battle Planet reboot, and it turned out to be a fantastic learning experience with Fusion 360. Prototype number one had some major layer shift issues in the head, which resulted in the head covering up the peg holes I made for the wings. In prototype two, I moved the peg holes further down to the base, but unfortunately, the wings were loose and kept falling out. Prototype three was where things started to fall into place – literally! I began adding more details and fixed those pesky wings, which now stay securely in place. The swivel mechanism also became more accurate, just like the original toy. By prototype four, I'd added the horn and legs, and made some tweaks to get the head to close correctly. The dragon sphere was printed on my Cetus MK3 using eSun Light Blue PLA+.
