Bait deployment with floating landing gear
grabcad
The exploration of quadcopter usage remains limited due to safety concerns and technological challenges. Given these constraints, it is assumed that the flying vehicle (FV) will not approach humans, particularly those in crowds, and its carrying capacity must be restricted by weight limitations. Additional accessories can add weight, rendering the original landing gear unusable; thus, this factor should be considered when designing new attachments. The FV features four pins to accommodate accessories and a servo to operate them if necessary. This drone's primary function is to deploy bait where fishermen plan to fish, with the release mechanism controlled by a servo. The landing gear is designed for water-based flights and can either land or crash on water surfaces. All components are printable, allowing for flexible materials in the landing barrels that absorb shock upon impact and a 10-15% infill for buoyancy and lightweight design.
