This 3D model originates from Sketchup 8, later transformed into various other formats. The native format is .skp with a corresponding 3ds Max scene rendered using Vray 3.00 A police station caught in the midst of an insurgency bears resemblance to a fortified outpost, particularly when neighboring organizations like the Mahdi army pose a formidable threat. Concrete barriers encompass the facility to prevent potential car bombs from breaching too closely. To counter external risks, one section of the compound's access road is intentionally blocked, ensuring any blast shockwave cannot compromise building safety from within. Half of the entrance is thereby obstructed to shield the interior space. Distinctive minaret-inspired towers have been strategically integrated into the design. By giving them a distinctive Islamic aesthetic, these towers also serve as potential sniper posts. Since nearby mosques are already known for their towering minarets, it seemed essential for this 3D model to replicate this aspect accurately, paving the way for the eventual creation of an entire mosque complex in the future. Originally envisioned sandbag bunkers featured prominently but had to be deleted from the final kmz file due to excessive curve usage and the resulting file size exceeding 10 MB.
