The baggage cart is designed for transporting cargo, luggage, and hand luggage of passengers at airports with ease. It's used when moving cargo from aircraft and vehicles to loading and unloading terminals at airports in a smooth manner. Baggage is transported in bulk efficiently. The cart is a four-wheeled trailer that consists of the following main assembly units: power frame, front swing bridge with drawbar and parking brake actuated by raising the drawbar to the vertical position, rear axle hitch, and platform deck made of corrugated steel sheet. Additional equipment includes an awning for sheltering luggage from atmospheric precipitation. The design of the cart and the presence of a rear hitch ensure its movement as part of the transport train "track to track".
