I whipped up a solution for a crossbody bag with a strap that was just too long. To shorten it slightly, I created this quick fix. I also added a loop for a keychain since the original design lacked a spot for one. The straps on this design are designed specifically for 40mm wide straps. This design is straightforward and easy to follow: simply fold the strap up, slide it through the two spaces between the closed slats, pull it through to get enough slack, and then slide the loop over the open bar.
