This sturdy bag is number four in a collection from the Kunstkamera Museum in St Petersburg. The bag was made for carrying household goods and hails from Orochon in Buryatia's Barguzin region. It dates back to the early 20th century. The bag is crafted from wood, birchbark, domestic dog fur, domestic reindeer skin, woolen cloth, cotton, thread, sueded leather known as rovduga, reindeer neck hair, and tendon thread with a final touch of cotton thread. Its measurements are 37.9 inches in length, 21.6 inches wide, and 27.7 inches tall.
