Baffle Section for Rostock MAX
thingiverse
This thing makes it easy to add a baffle around your Rostock MAX printer. Print multiple copies and snap-link them together securely. Make a ring for the top and bottom, creating a sturdy base. Cut a piece of poster board or other thin sheet (0.5 mm or thinner) and slip it into the slots, taking advantage of its self-supporting design even with very thin materials. In the example photo, I'm using a laminated panoramic photograph that has a clear border around the picture, so you may not see the plastic frame clearly. There are two STL files available: one features a continuous arc and the other is divided into sections. After experiencing issues with prints peeling up on the ends, I cut up the arc to relieve stress, but I prefer the continuous version better. You might want to consider using a raft if the parts detach from the bed during printing.
