At first, I tried sticking the sensor to the lever normally, but it kept falling off after rain or a shaky ride. To solve this problem, I designed a mounting plate that snap-fits into the lever. This allows you to simply stick the sensor to the surface afterwards. Since the sensor is mirrored, you won't need a "right" or "left" part, and can use the same piece for both sides. This type of tape is waterproof and won't fall off after some time. Alternatively, you can use magnets to secure the sensor. You can either use the default 12mm (4.2mm hole) magnets or smaller ones that also snap-fit into the bracket. To properly position the magnet, I used a 22mm heatshrink and two cable ties, which allows for small alignments while keeping the position.
