BAF's Airsoft AK bullpup conversion
thingiverse
I've tried a few conversion kits from here but never had any luck with actually plug-and-play stuff. I just want to download, print and play. So I've made my own kit. Inspired by other conversions, some commercial, some from around here. I've made this ground-up in Creo 3.0 and printed on my ENDER 3. Some notes: Lower handguard STL has support added for proper orientation during print. Don't try other orientations; it will brake once you try to wield the gun. After dry fitting all the parts, I've run through all bigger pin holes with 6mm drill bit to make sure pins fit through. 3mm drill bit should be used for trigger and switch pin holes. Also the muzzle brake has to be glued in. The used microswitch is OMRON D3V-163-1C5. Not that I've put some thought in it, it was just free to take at work. It should be the same type like used in M249 triggers. The microswitch lever has to be cut down to size. In order to run the gun you need to install mosfet. I've fitted mine above the GB where battery usually is. The handguard can be made either fixed or removable (battery fits there that way), that's why there are two types of the longest pin. Wiring is lead out of GB like in normal AK, but made longer to reach the handguard. Please don't try to sell it. You won't find anyone that wants to buy it and you'll inevitably ruin your day with other people refusal. Seriously. I've tried. STEP files are attached so you can tinker around with it. Add some rails, make something tacti-cool or make hello kitty version. If you make hello kitty version, let me know. I want one too.
